Master of Arts (Research)
A Master of Arts (Research) allows students to complete a major research project in an area within the humanities and social science disciplines.
The MA allows students to undertake a critical application of specialist knowledge and skills in a chosen area of study. The thesis component includes a submission of a 30,000 word thesis.
A Master of Arts (Research) is usually undertaken over 18 months (full-time) or three years (part-time). Successful completion of the Master of Arts can act as a pathway to the Doctor of Philosophy degree.
