Under the supervision of health sciences academic staff, students complete a thesis of approximately 80,000–100,000 words over a maximum period of up to four years full-time.

Graduating with a PhD marks a student’s admission to the community of health scientists and scholars. 

Research projects are available in the discilines of: audiology, nursing, optometry, physiotherapy, speech pathology or social work.
