Graduate Certificate in Managing Early Psychosis
The Graduate Certificate in Managing Early Psychosis has been developed by the University of Melbourne’s Faculty of Medicine Dentistry and Health Sciences (MDHS) in collaboration with Orygen, The National Centre of Excellence in Youth Mental Health (Orygen) to lead the expansion of graduate education in youth mental health in Australia and internationally.
Possibly the only graduate program of its kind in Australia, this online course provides students with specialized knowledge on the various causes, features and phases of first episode psychosis; informs them about best-practice early intervention and treatment approaches; and builds on their existing skills in the engagement, assessment and ongoing management of early psychosis in young people.
