Professional Certificate in Arts Education
The Professional Certificate in Arts Education involves a critical inquiry into arts-based engagement, learning and pedagogy. You will engage with issues, practices and theories about learning in and through the arts in diverse settings.
This course is relevant to arts education specialists, generalist teachers, artists, community educators and other practitioners who work with children and young people. It offers you the opportunity to focus specifically on music, the visual arts, drama, media or dance.
Led by arts specialists with many years of professional experience as educators, researchers and art practitioners, this course is based on the latest developments in research, policy, advocacy and practice in arts education in early childhood, school and community contexts.

The typical course fee per year is calculated on the basis of one full-time year of study (1 EFTSL). If a course duration is less than one year, you will pay the indicative total course fee. Actual fees vary depending on the subjects you are taking. The University reviews fees annually.
