Master of Arts (Advanced Seminar and Shorter Thesis)
A Master of Arts (Advanced Seminar and Shorter Thesis) allows students to complete both coursework and a research project in an area within the humanities and social science disciplines.
Research students are provided with specialist support including workshops, seminars and coursework leadership programs. You will cultivate high level research and writing skills, and study coursework elements that will enhance your research training experience.
A Master of Arts (Advanced Seminar and Shorter Thesis) is usually undertaken over 18 months (full-time) or three years (part-time). Successful completion of the Master of Arts can act as a pathway to the Doctor of Philosophy degree.
