Delivered in conjunction with Victorian Opera, the Master of Music (Opera Performance) is a professional training program offering elite-level training for opera singers and repetiteurs.
Students are trained in operatic performance to a professional standard, in language, diction and stagecraft essential for opera performers and in physiology, research methodology and musicology that support the work of opera professionals.
Each student participates in a variety of operatic roles at professional level within a nationally renowned opera company.
The Melbourne Conservatorium will provide the language, diction and support studies subjects that include music research, musicology and performance physiology. Victorian Opera offers a unique learning environment for opera performers.
