Doctor of Education
The Doctor of Education (DEd) is an advanced professional doctorate for experienced professionals with educational responsibilities.
Carefully designed to parallel their regular work, the course enables experienced educators to carry out advanced academic and professional study which has direct relevance to their professional role. Completion normally requires a combination of coursework and a 55,000 word thesis, which comprises a substantial piece of original research.

This course is supported by the Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP). Under the RTP, domestic students are exempt from tuition fees for the normal duration of the course. This exemption is valid for up to four years for students enrolled in a doctoral program and up to two years for a research master’s degree. More details on RTP and other fees you may need to pay.
